Ravenna Attorney Andrew Popp focuses on two fields of law: Elder Law and Criminal Defense. He is results-oriented, relying on his exceptional legal knowledge and successful litigation techniques to achieve results.
Andrew obtained his bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and Policy with a minor in Political Science from the University of South Florida. He then attended Stetson Law School, where he acquired his Juris Doctor with a concentration in trial advocacy.
While at Stetson, he received numerous awards, including the Doyle Conflict Resolution Inc. Top Grade Award and the Leadership Development certificate.
Upon graduation, Andrew served as an Assistant State Attorney. He handled criminal cases from initial investigation through trial and appeals and prosecuted hundreds of misdemeanor and felony cases. He gained extensive first and second chair trial experience in both bench and jury trials.
After leaving the prosecutor’s office, Andrew focused on Elder Law. Motivated by his passion for defending his clients’ interests, he acquired an in-depth knowledge wills, trusts, probate, estate and Medicaid planning.
Due to his extensive training and practice in this field, Andrew is also well versed in the numerous and most recent strategies available to protect his client’s assets from being taken away upon entering a nursing home.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Andrew is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hiking and fishing. He is a certified open-water SCUBA diver.
